Luxury Handmade Christmas Pudding
Traditional Christmas Puddings & Marmalade
We make all our award winning luxury, traditional and gluten/wheat free Christmas puddings by hand. All our homemade Christmas puddings are vegetarian and dairy free.
We also make traditional marmalade that precisely follows our 1849 family recipe (see ‘& Stuff‘).
This award winning marmalade is hand cut, using the very best fresh Seville oranges.
We would like to thank you for your support in making our First Christmas Day meal here at Clough Manor a resounding success.
We catered for 128 guests and many of them ordered your supreme Christmas Puddings for desert, which were light years better than the original version we were going to use. From the look of the empty plates that were collected from the tables, the guests definitely enjoyed them as we expected. We will definitely be ordering them again from you.
Once again we thank you and wish you all the best.
The team at Clough Manor would like to wish you all a Prosperous 2016.

I just wanted to write and say how truly delicious the gluten free Christmas pudding I bought from you in 2014 was. I only ate it in January of this year, 2016. My mum made excellent traditional puddings, [with gluten] and I have to say it matched hers, which is the highest praise I can give! It was so good that I was even able to eat some cold the next day as if it were fruit cake. Thank you! Wishing your company much success in the future.

The final new product we have for you is a slight break with the usual morsels we offer.
Last year after much searching I found a truly magnificent traditional Christmas pudding being made in a village underneath the Quantock Hills of Somerset. Wizz is the name of the lady who makes them to her great, great grandmother’s original c.1840s “Plum Pudding” adapted recipe. I stocked and sampled them in the shop and the reaction was extraordinary. We sold literally hundreds of them and people are already ordering them for this year.
They come in a real calico wrapping that you simply steam or microwave them in, filling your kitchen with that wonderful smell of Christmas. This year we are only having one size by mail order and if you enjoy them we will offer more next year.

AMAZING!!! We had the pudding last night as you may have gathered from the phone call and message yesterday. It was the BEST we have ever had – we used to have Fortnum and Masons and have tried Mosimanns as well as Marks and Spencer and last year the Carved Angel. None of them were anywhere near yours. Thank you very much. I look forward to next year!

Happy New Year to all of you at Plum duff and stuff. I met you at Hestercombe Christmas Market and bought from you 2 x 2lb Gluten Free Christmas Puddings. Well! We are still astounded at the flavour, texture and pure deliciousness of your puddings and can’t wait for next year. I gave one to my son who also has gluten problems and he rang me especially to say how fantastic it was and had never tasted anything so wonderful, never having been a Christmas pudding fan before. To which I could only agree with pleasure(and relief) at the success. Fantastic!

Good Morning, My daughter bought for us one of your amazing Christmas puddings from Cotehele Christmas Fair. I just cannot give you enough compliments, it was truly amazing. The texture and the balance of ingredients were absolutely perfect. Nothing was heavy and stodgy like so many puddings we’ve had. I just can’t wait for next Christmas to have another one of yours.
